Management Team Debriefing & Burnout Prevention

Team debriefs provide a structured format for management groups to process and identify challenges and issues. Debriefs are tailored to each team and take into account the unique social, emotional, psychological and physical demands of different work environments which may prevent managers from adequately processing the events of the job in real time. Debriefs can be done virtually or in person depending on the location of your team members. 

Debriefs can help management teams:

Mental Health Literacy Training for Managers

These 3 hour (½ day) virtual or in person trainings are designed to help companies integrate employee mental health and well being into their operational structure and decrease mental health stigma. 

This seminar provides managers with the basic skills and helps to improve confidence needed to:

  • Pro-actively tackle workplace stress and burnout

  • Practice active listening and empathy techniques

  • Improve ability to identify potential mental health and wellbeing issues within their team

Critical Incident Stress Management Services

Critical Incident Stress Management services are facilitated by trained professionals and intended to provide psychosocial and emotional support following a crisis. Facilitators help employees understand common stress responses, coping strategies and connect employees to additional mental health counselling and resources. 

Critical Incident Management Services can be done in person or virtually, for groups or individuals. This is an early intervention process, taking place within the first 12 - 48 hours following a critical incident. 

Critical Incident Stress Management Services help:

  • Reduce emotional tension 

  • Mitigate the long term impacts of the crisis or critical incident

  • Foster resilience

  • Help stabilize the individual or group 

  • Help individuals mobilize personal resources 

  • Identify coping strategies and external supports

‘On Call’ Individual Counseling and Consulting for Remote Tourism Workers

Offer your staff access to a counsellor who understands the unique workplace stressors and context of the tourism and hospitality industry as well as remote working environments. Staff can conveniently book video or phone counselling sessions at times that fit their seasonal work schedule.
